A two-car collision in Glenpool, Oklahoma on Wednesday morning sent two people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Glenpool police, the crash occurred around 8 a.m. at the intersection of 151st Street South and Peoria. Both drivers involved were transported for medical treatment.
Three child passengers in one of the vehicles were also checked out by paramedics on scene but released with no major injuries reported.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Police have not released which vehicle may have been at fault in the intersection collision.
While serious enough to require hospitalization, officials say the injuries to those involved appear to be non-critical. The children involved somehow avoided any harm despite the impact.
For Glenpool residents, news of a bad crash on a local roadway always elicits concerns and relief when lives are spared. As investigators review circumstances, the community is thankful the outcome wasn’t worse on this morning.
