A 17-year-old male has died following a motorcycle collision with a pickup truck overnight in Ramara, Ontario.

According to the Orillia OPP detachment, the fatal crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Highway 12 and Ramara Road 46. The teenage motorcyclist was transported to hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
The area was closed for several hours as the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team investigated alongside the Office of the Chief Coroner. The intersection has since reopened.
Authorities are still working to determine the circumstances leading up to the devastating collision. They are asking any potential witnesses to come forward with information that could assist the ongoing investigation.
