An inquest has ruled the February 2021 death of 31-year-old Christopher Fisher a “tragic accident” after he crashed his new car in St Ouen, Jersey.
Must Read:
Fisher lost control of his recently purchased red Nissan while overtaking another vehicle on La Grande Route De St Ouen, colliding with a curb and tree. He died from traumatic head and chest injuries according to the hearing.
In a statement, Fisher’s father described him as a “wonderful man” who “lived life to the full” and always had a smile. Family thanked emergency responders and passing motorists who tried to assist after the devastating crash.
Collision investigators determined Fisher was unable to straighten out in time while maneuvering around a car in front. The coroner called him a “remarkable son and fiancé” taken far too soon.
For Fisher’s loving family and fiancée, the pain they must feel losing him that fateful day is unimaginable. While authorities could only classify his passing as a terrible accident, it provides little comfort to those so deeply affected.
The tight-knit community rallies around his family as they process this difficult loss. Though nothing can fill the void left behind, their cherished memories of Fisher live on.
