A car crashed into the back of a home in Ottawa’s south end early Friday morning, causing significant damage but no injuries.

Around 7 a.m., emergency responders were called to Cotters Crescent, where a vehicle traveling on Uplands Drive had veered through a fence and into the residence’s rear.
According to Ottawa Fire Services spokesperson Nick DeFazio, five occupants were inside at the time, but miraculously no one was hurt.
He noted that the home’s structural integrity was compromised to the point where it has been deemed uninhabitable until repairs can be made.
The Ottawa Police Service confirmed officers attended the scene in relation to the collision and that no injuries were reported. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
