Bengaluru, October 1st, 2023 – A tragic road accident occurred late Saturday night in Bengaluru, resulting in the death of a 48-year-old woman.
According to police reports, renowned Kannada film actor Nagabhushan SS was allegedly driving his car rashly and negligently on Vasanthapura Main Road when he rammed into a couple walking on the footpath around 11:30 pm.
The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Prema S. Her husband, 58-year-old Krishna B, sustained critical injuries in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby private hospital.
After hitting the couple, Nagabhushan’s car crashed into an electric pole. The police seized the car for further investigation and registered a case against the actor for rash and negligent driving leading to death.
The incident has shocked Nagabhushan’s fans and the Kannada film industry. Police investigations are underway to ascertain if the actor was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. This tragic loss of life due to rash driving has again highlighted the need for caution on roads.
