A 22-year-old woman was killed after a vehicle struck her and her two brothers while they were out jogging in Commack, New York on Thursday morning.

According to Suffolk County police, Ilona Kaydanov, 22, was running single file with her brothers Dennis Kaydanov, 20, and Joseph Kaydanov, 13, along the northbound shoulder of Harned Road near Donna Court. Around 8:30 a.m., a 2022 Chrysler Voyager driven by 44-year-old Francis Floyd of Bay Shore hit the trio.
Ilona Kaydanov, from Commack, was transported to South Shore University Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her brothers were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene along with two adult passengers. None of the occupants of the minivan were injured.
No charges have been filed yet as the investigation continues. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
Police are asking witnesses or those with information about the fatal crash to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452. The community mourns the tragic loss of the young jogger.
