A shocking scene unfolded at a Denny’s restaurant in Rosenberg, Texas on Monday morning when an SUV crashed into the building, injuring 23 people inside having Labor Day breakfast.

According to Rosenberg police, the single-vehicle collision occurred around 11:20 a.m., with a maroon Jeep SUV slamming into the south wall of the Denny’s located just west of Houston.
While none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening, the victims ranged in age from 12 to 60. Police Chief Jonathan White stated the injured suffered various wounds from minor lacerations to more severe trauma, but all were conscious when transported to hospitals.
Remarkably, the approximately 30-year-old male driver of the SUV was unharmed in the dramatic crash. At this stage, he has not been arrested, but charges could be filed later depending on the ongoing investigation, police said.
