A fatal head-on collision occurred on Friday in Monroe County, Indiana, resulting in the death of a 32-year-old woman.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on West State Road 45 near North Eller Road. At the scene, officers found two drivers involved.
32-year-old Haylee Keller was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the collision.
Witness statements indicate the surviving driver had been traveling westbound on S.R. 45 before crossing over the center line and hitting Keller’s vehicle head-on.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the deadly crash. The name of the surviving driver has not been released at this time. The head-on collision on S.R. 45 claimed Keller’s life and remains under active investigation.
