A single-vehicle crash on a highway near the town of Bonnyville, Alberta has claimed the life of a 55-year-old female passenger on Sunday.

According to Bonnyville RCMP, the deadly collision occurred on Highway 28 southwest of town near Township Road 603. A 44-year-old woman driving the vehicle suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to an Edmonton hospital.
