This addresses the needs of consumers seeking budget-friendly alternatives. New models have recently entered the Indian market, striving to cater to consumer demands. In addition, new CNG cars are also hitting the market and are available for purchase in showrooms.
Tata Tiago CNG
Tata has introduced the Tata Tiago CNG (CNG), which utilizes dual-cylinder technology to increase boot space. It offers different variants and is powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine with 72 bhp power and 95 Nm torque in CNG mode. The Tiago iCNG achieved a 4-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test and provides a mileage of 26.49 km/kg. The price ranges from 6.50 lakh to 8.11 lakh rupees.
Tata Punch CNG
The Tata Punch CNG is similar to the Tiago iCNG, offering voice assist and an electric sunroof. It comes with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 76 bhp power and 97 Nm torque in CNG mode. The car features a 5-speed manual gearbox and is available in variants including Pure, Adventure, Adventure Rhythm, Accomplished, and Accomplished Diesel S. The price varies from 7.10 lakh to 9.68 lakh rupees.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 CNG
Maruti Suzuki’s Alto K10 CNG version boasts a mileage of 33.85 km/kg. This hatchback provides a single CNG variant, equipped with a 998cc engine generating 56 bhp power and 82 Nm torque in CNG mode. It also offers 64.3 bhp power and 89 Nm torque in petrol mode. The engine pairs with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG
Maruti Suzuki’s Celerio CNG model is available only in the VXI trim. With its efficient 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine, it offers 56 bhp power and 82 Nm torque in CNG mode. The car provides 35 km/kg mileage and is priced at 6.74 lakh rupees ex-showroom in Delhi.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG
The Brezza S-CNG by Maruti Suzuki stands out in its segment with a 1.5-liter K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 102 bhp power and 136.8 Nm torque. It is available with both 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter transmissions. The CNG version features a manual gearbox, generating 87 bhp power and 121.5 Nm torque. The ex-showroom price of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza starts from 8.29 lakh rupees, and the CNG version begins at 9.24 lakh rupees with a mileage of 25.51 km/kg.
