A head-on collision on State Road 45 in Bloomington, Indiana resulted in the death of a 32-year-old woman on Friday morning.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal crash occurred around 11:28 a.m. near the intersection of S.R. 45 West and Eller Road.
The victim was identified as Haylee Keller of Greene County. Investigators say Keller was driving eastbound on S.R. 45 when a vehicle traveling west, driven by Zachary Seiger of Putnam County, crossed the center line and struck Keller’s vehicle head-on.
Keller was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Seiger sustained major injuries to his leg and torso in the collision.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team is working to gather additional details surrounding the circumstances of the fatal head-on accident. An investigation into the cause remains ongoing.
