Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automobile companies, is soon set to launch its new SUV in the country. According to media reports, Tata is working on its new SUV called Tata Tyson. As per the reports, the company will build this SUV on a new platform and position it as a competitor to the Toyota Fortuner. While the Harrier model offers an automatic transmission with a 6-speed gearbox, Tata Tyson is reported to provide both automatic and manual transmissions with the same number of gears.

The Harrier variant is equipped with a Kryotec 2.0 L Turbocharged diesel engine, capable of delivering 167.67bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. Although there is no information available regarding the power and torque figures of Tata Tyson, it is confirmed that the car will run on petrol instead of diesel. This not only aids in reducing emissions but also improves the overall performance of the vehicle.

Both cars prioritize safety with disc brakes on the front and rear, along with additional features like cruise control, power door locks, front seat belts, seat belt reminders, parking sensors, a camera, adjustable seats, ventilated seats, child safety locks, anti-theft alarm, and at least 6 airbags.
