Investigation Alert: Wilkinson County Fatal Three-Vehicle Collision

IRWINTON, Ga. – A deadly three-car collision is under investigation after occurring Saturday afternoon at an intersection in rural Wilkinson County.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the crash took place around 3:14 p.m. at the crossing of GA Highways 18 and 243 near Irwinton. A Plymouth Neon traveling south on GA 18 failed to yield while crossing GA 243 and was struck on the passenger side by an oncoming Dodge Charger.
