Child killed, 2 critically injured in Fannin County, Texas car crash

Fannin County, TX – An 8-year-old girl died and two others were critically injured in a single-vehicle car accident that occurred on Thursday, September 7 in Fannin County, Texas.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2017 Cadillac XTS driven by Kyle Wilson was traveling north on FM 151 when it veered off the roadway around two miles northwest of Trenton.

The Cadillac struck a metal fence and tree during the crash. The 8-year-old female passenger was transported to a Dallas hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Wilson and a 10-year-old boy were also taken to a Dallas hospital in critical condition following the accident. An adult passenger and a 6-year-old girl were hospitalized in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the tragic Fannin County car crash remain under investigation.
