Fatal Plymouth Crash: 3-Vehicle Collision Claims a Life

Plymouth, MN – A 68-year-old woman died in a fatal three-vehicle crash at a Plymouth intersection on Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred just before 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 55 and Industrial Park Boulevard, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

3-car crash claims a life in Plymouth

A Dodge Ram pickup and a Toyota Camry were both eastbound on Highway 55 when they collided with a Honda Pilot that was northbound on Industrial Park Blvd, investigators said.

The driver of the Honda, 68-year-old Catherine Regina Caron of Plymouth, sadly did not survive the devastating impact. Video showed the Toyota engulfed in flames following the crash.

The 49-year-old male driver of the Toyota was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The Ram driver was unhurt. All three were reported to be wearing seatbelts.

The State Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal three-car collision at the Plymouth intersection Tuesday afternoon that claimed Caron’s life. The pickup and Camry drivers are cooperating with investigators.
