A woman in her 20s from Kettering died Sunday night after the car she was riding in crashed off the road in Brampton Ash, Northamptonshire.

The woman was a passenger in a Mini Cooper traveling from Corby to Market Harborough on the A427 around 11:20 p.m. The car left the road, went down an embankment, and collided with a fence before coming to rest in a field.
The male driver, aged in his 30s, sustained only minor injuries in the accident.
Police are asking any witnesses to come forward with information about the crash. The victim has not been publicly identified pending notification of her family.
