Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador found herself in legal trouble over the weekend after a late-night car crash in Newport Beach, California. On Saturday night, Beador drove her car into a residential home and fled the scene. She was located by police a short while later walking her dog Archie nearby.
Photos reveal significant damage to the home including a destroyed planter, displaced bushes, and scrape marks along the exterior wall near the front door. Debris from Beador’s vehicle was also left behind at the scene.
Beador was arrested for misdemeanor hit-and-run and DUI. She was released the next morning after posting $2,500 bail. The reality star has not made any public statements but her lawyer confirmed she accepts full responsibility and is remorseful.
Beador’s RHOC co-star Tamra Judge said she spoke to Shannon the day after the crash and she did not mention it. Other sources claim Beador was injured in the collision and is now seeking counseling.
This legal trouble for the Bravo personality serves as a reminder that driving under the influence can result in catastrophic consequences. Beador is facing misdemeanor charges but luckily did not cause any serious injuries.
