In a strategic move ahead of the festive season, MG Motor India has reduced prices of its ZS EV electric SUV and Hector flagship SUV. This aims to boost sales by improving affordability.

The starting price of the ZS EV now drops to Rs. 22.88 lakhs for the base Excite variant, a reduction of Rs. 50,000. The higher Exclusive and Exclusive Pro trims see even steeper cuts of Rs. 2.3 lakhs and Rs. 2 lakhs respectively, now starting at Rs. 24.99 lakhs and Rs. 25.89 lakhs.
Equipped with a 44.5kWh battery pack, the ZS EV delivers a range of 461km on a single charge. Its electric motor generates 174hp and 280Nm torque. The internet-enabled SUV offers ADAS, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and other advanced features.
Meanwhile, the Hector SUV gets a new entry price of Rs. 14.72 lakhs for the base variant, reduced by Rs. 1.2 lakhs. The most affordable diesel Hector now starts at Rs. 17.98 lakhs, lowered by Rs. 1 lakh.
The limited period pricing aims to accelerate sales amid festivities. MG is celebrating its centenary year with attractive offers. The reduced prices improve accessibility of the ZS EV and Hector to a wider audience.
The discounted rates allow MG to compete strongly with segment rivals like Tata Harrier, Hyundai Alcazar, upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and others. MG continues to push ahead as a premium, tech-focused brand while enticing buyers with deal sweeteners.
