Tata Motors has solidified its position in the electric vehicle market, achieving a momentous feat by surpassing the 100,000 mark in electric vehicle sales. Yet, this accomplishment merely serves as a prelude, as the company sets its sights on a future brimming with the launch of new electric vehicle models.
Reportedly, the company has artfully showcased its trajectory through a drone spectacle, spotlighting sales figures spanning from 10,000 to 100,000 electric vehicles. This presentation vividly illustrates Tata’s achievement of approximately 50,000 electric vehicles sold within the preceding nine months.
Furthermore, Tata Motors has an ambitious blueprint for expanding its electric vehicle portfolio. The roadmap until 2024 encompasses the introduction of four novel electric SUVs: Punch EV, Nexon EV Facelift, Harrier EV, and Carve EV.
Affirming their commitment, Tata’s electric vehicles have collectively traversed a colossal distance of 1.4 billion kilometers, an equivalent of three orbits around the sun. Amid their ownership of these electric vehicles, patrons have not only curbed around 219,432 tons of CO2 emissions but have also economized a substantial 7 billion rupees in fuel costs.

Industry experts speculate that the company is poised to launch revamped editions of the Harrier and Safari models in the early months of the forthcoming year. Anticipated enhancements include a familiar split headlamp design coupled with a novel front fascia. Furthermore, the design cues for these fresh SUVs could draw inspiration from the Harrier EV concept, which took center stage at the 2023 Auto Expo.
