Southern Missouri Car Collision Takes the Lives of Woman and Infant

A tragic car accident occurred on Saturday in southwestern Missouri, resulting in the deaths of a woman and a young child. 32-year-old Xiaoxiao Zheng and a 1-year-old boy were killed when their vehicle was involved in a collision at the intersection of MO 97 and US 60, located three miles west of Monett. Authorities have not released the name of the child out of respect for the family’s privacy during this incredibly difficult time.

In a separate incident on the same day, an Amish buggy was struck by a car in Seymour. A baby tragically passed away, while a man and woman who were also ejected from the buggy sustained moderate injuries. The driver of the automobile was unharmed.
