On Wednesday night in Hartford, Connecticut, tragedy struck as a police officer lost their life and another was injured in a car crash. Details are still emerging, but authorities have reported that the accident involved a police cruiser and another vehicle, located just west of downtown Hartford.

In a somber early morning procession, fellow officers paid their respects by accompanying the deceased officer’s body from the hospital to the chief medical examiner’s office in Farmington.
