A beloved nurse lost her life this morning in a horrific head-on collision allegedly caused by a stolen car fleeing the scene of an armed robbery.
The tragedy unfolded around 7:23 a.m. when a brown Mercedes hatchback, reported stolen hours earlier, slammed at high speed into a Nissan Micra on Windsor Road near Nambour.
The nurse, 52, was tragically killed in the wreckage. Her small Nissan was left utterly crushed, the driver’s side caved in by the devastating impact.
