Tragic Fatality in Thousand Oaks Motorcycle Crash; Lynn Road Shut Down

A 56-year-old Thousand Oaks man was killed in a fatal solo motorcycle accident on Thursday night that forced the closure of a section of Lynn Road for several hours.

The crash occurred around 7:07 p.m. on Lynn Road, just south of the intersection with Camino Manzanas, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. William Hutton.

First responders arrived to find the motorcyclist had gone down and suffered major injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Los Robles Regional Medical Center but did not survive.

The closure remained in effect as of late Thursday night, with no details yet available on how the tragic accident occurred.
