A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred early Sunday morning in Indianapolis, according to police. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the driver, whose name and age have not yet been released, crashed into a tree on Fall Creek Parkway near 32nd Street around 3:30 a.m.

The driver was initially transported to a local hospital in critical condition after being extracted from the vehicle. Tragically, the victim succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
Fall Creek Parkway was temporarily closed while police investigated the scene and cleared the wreckage. The circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation by Indianapolis police.
