A fatal car accident occurred on Friday evening on the A465 near Resolven in Neath Port Talbot, according to South Wales Police.
Police stated that “a green Ford Fiesta collided with the central barriers heading northbound on the A465 prior to the roundabout with Resolven. The driver of the Fiesta, a 32-year-old local man suffered fatal injuries as a result.”
The 32-year-old male driver of the Ford Fiesta unfortunately suffered fatal injuries in the solo vehicle crash.
South Wales Police shared in a Facebook statement on Saturday that they are now appealing for witnesses to the collision or the manner of driving of the Ford Fiesta prior to the incident happening around 7:15 pm Friday.
Specially trained Family Liaison Officers are currently supporting the man’s family during this difficult time, the police statement said.
The circumstances surrounding the fatal A465 car accident remain under investigation. Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.
